Garage Co. Customs Nails the CB750

Oh, I think I'll be stealing some ideas from this one. Personally I've always hated the CB750 because of the laundry list of ugly features. However, this BOBBER, which is tagged as a Cafe Racer (WRONG), has seriously changed my ideas about the potential of these bikes.

Well done "Garage Company Customs"!

Check out this Art Deco Motorcycle it has similar lines, but the artist/builder took it to a whole other level. I really miss this style of design, though it went out decades before I was even born. The idea of an almost saturated sense of elegance is something that I wish we could re-integrate into modern design. We're a little heavy into the sterilized techno minimalism these days. I'd love to see more stuff that is still functional but has the "Dick Tracy" look to it. The bike you linked up is a great mix of elegant lines surrounding a practical "blue collar" functional look.

Love it.
